You are typically expected to have the below skillsets
- Deep understanding of data structure/data models to design, develop, and deliver various Data based use cases
- Advanced data solutions – deep understanding & knowledge on designing and building data solutions using technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Cloudera, Data ISVs like Privacera, Alation, etc
- Deep understanding & knowledge of Big Data ecosystem implementation using Open Source and Non-SQL technologies such as Databricks, Spark, Spark Streaming, Kafka, Storm, Zeppelin, Scala Software development, Hadoop Hive, Hadoop Map Reduce, Hadoop Clusters & other solutions
- Understanding of various domain & functional use cases driven by data & having a strong PoV around the data foundation layer/ecosystem needed to power the same
- Cloud-native Data Ecosystem – deep understanding & knowledge of designing and building data solutions using cloud PaaS & Cloud Native technologies
- Deep understanding & experience of delivery in at least 5 of the below-mentioned Data Management dimensions:
- Enterprise Data Strategy, vision & mission

- Data Migration (legacy to modern; on-premises to the cloud)

As Transformation Specialist-Data, you will need to
- Work on client engagements for creating a data strategy, data & analytics roadmap, or quantifying ROI from data
- Analyze and solve moderately complex problems, build data strategy and roadmap
- Understand the strategic direction set by senior management, clearly communicate team goals, and deliverables, and keep the team updated on change
- Help translate business requirements into technical requirements for inclusion in contracts and/or statements of work.
- Execute consulting engagement for Advisory services on Data Ecosystem Modernization
- Take a leadership role on projects demonstrating experience handling projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes running multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Continually learn and grow professionally
- Mentor other consultants to share your knowledge and experience
- Build consulting assets, collaterals, and methods
- Build GTM content and collaterals
- Develop use case(s) storylines and high-level reference architecture(s)
- Participate in thought leadership activities by contributing to articles/ talks
- Be an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort and/or team.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
And since, this exciting job is not just about designing Data Strategy
- Total of around 6+ years of experience within the Data space – Data lake, Data warehousing, ETL, Big Data Engineering, Cloud Based Data Ecosystem
- Ability to establish a strong client relationship
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong execution skills, while being able to contribute to strategy formulation
- Experience in solutioning, building effort estimates and costing/ pricing, making presentations to CXOs, and building/leading prototype development
- Written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
