CAPA India Privacy Policy: Updated 18 April 2023
CAPA India respects the privacy policy of our users and is strongly committed to protecting your privacy online. Our privacy policy, along with controls to manage data we collect, are below.
What type of information do we collect?
We collect personal information you give us such as your name, position, company and email address. In addition, we collect the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet. We may use the industry-standard AWS platform to collect data related to how users are using the site. We use this data in an aggregated form in order to figure out overall site traffic, which types of content are performing well, how long users spend on the site, how much time pages take to load, how various marketing campaigns have performed and so on.
How do you collect information?
When you request information from us via our website, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, position, company and email address. Some of our emails contain a tracking code that allows us to identify whether a user has opened an email or clicked on a link from an email. These values are stored internally and on our mail service provider’s servers for analytics and fraud prevention purposes.
Why do we collect such personal information?
We collect such personal information to:
- Provide visitors with customer assistance
- Respond to requests for our products or services
- Allow contact with our visitors with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages
- Poll your opinions through surveys of questionnaires
- Create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred non-personal information, which we may use to provide and improve our respective services
How do we store, use, share and disclose our site visitors’ personal information?
Our company website is hosted on the AWS Platform. Your data may be stored through AWS’s data storage, databases and the general AWS applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
