We were a strategic advisor for the offer documents for Go First’s proposed IPOs in 2020 and 2021 to raise INR3,600 crore.
We worked closely with investment bankers on the transaction, conducting detailed analysis of the market trends and the financial performance of global peer group airlines.

Capital Raising
We supported a leading UK-based aircraft lessor and asset manager in its plans to raise USD1 billion in tranches.
The initial phase targeted USD250 million to invest in latest generation narrowbody aircraft, e.g. A320neos and 737 MAX. The lessor had 80+ aircraft under management at that time.

We conducted a detailed due diligence on a general aviation MRO services provider, which looked in detail at the strategy, operations and financials of the provider, leading to an estimated business valuation and an in-depth risk assessment.

We conducted due diligence on the business plan for a start-up jet charter operation, applying our knowledge and experience of the business and of the general aviation sector to critique the robustness of assumptions and strategy.

We evaluated an opportunity for a leading airline investor in the world with a portfolio of carriers across North America, Latin America and Europe to acquire a significant stake in a start-up LCC in India.

Capital Raising
We were appointed to raise capital for a Nepal-based LCC to support its proposed expansion to take advantage of air traffic growth, following the peace accord that ended the civil unrest in the country. We successfully secured a US-based investor for the client.

We held a capital-raising exercise to establish a world-class aviation education and training campus in Bengaluru, India. The project brought together some of the leading companies in the sector. Based on commitments received, we secured initial funding from a UK-based and a Dubai-based investor, and from an Indian real estate company in the next round.

We developed a new business plan and prepared an investor memorandum for an Indian ground handler with operations across several South Indian airports to secure strategic or financial investment. We introduced the client to several global ground handlers with interest in the Indian market.
