We are actively seeking passionate Business Transformation Specialists, who love to use their Application Understanding & Integration capabilities to bring about transformations in Organisation and help them succeed in the Marketplace. You are an experienced Aviation Business Systems and Application Specialist with proven knowledge in Airlines/ Aviation/ Travel and Tourism Industry. You are highly passionate and enthusiastic in crafting API & Microservices Journeys for Organisations who are wresting on you to define their Application & Business Systems Strategy & Roadmap, and also expecting you to lead this Transformation. You are typically expected to have the below skillsets

  • End to End View of the Aviation Business Systems & Application Landscape
  • Knowledge and expertise in Integration technologies like API and Micro services
  • Global software product leader with extensive experience in building highly successful products and product management teams.
  • Business Process understanding across the below domains
  • Revenue Management, Commercial Planning, Inventory Management and Maintenance. Functional & technical experience in Aviation MRO, Supply Chain Management, ERP systems & API Special Projects.
  • Distribution and Travel Technology like Global Distribution System (GDS), New Distribution Capability (NDC). Proficient in Travel Domain with expertise in Fares & Pricing, Ticketing and Stock Management.
  • Travel E- Commerce setup based on product requirement to ensure the most relevant product is available to customer at competitive pricing
  • Likely Systems Knowledge: Amadeus, Sabre, Rategain, Infare, New Skies, Travel ECommerce, Navitaire Sky Schedule, Navitaire Utilities, Navitaire SkyFare, Navitaire Skyspeed, GoNow, Zendesk, OTA eCommerce Platforms, Opera, iHotelier, Revgauge
  • Extensive experience in Business Analysis & Consultancy, Product Development, Testing, Installation, Implementation, deployment, Training and Support of Aviation Software, Including Engineering, Airline MRO, CAMO, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Quality Management Systems, Flight Operations.
  • Ability to ensure Best-In-Class performance and availability of our PLM platforms and analyse and resolve the issues occurring in the existing PLM projects.

As Business Systems and Application Advisory, you will need to

  • Assess Business Systems & Application Maturity and define Strategy and Roadmap
  • Analyse Business Systems & Applications, identify opportunities, define the value proposition, reengineer the architecture to improve business capabilities and recommend Business Application approach/strategy
  • Develop detailed As-Is Business Capability Map, detailed To Be Business Capability Map across the Business Value Chain of Aviation/ Travel & Tourism Industry
  • Conduct High-Level Assessments
  • Develop a solution proposal focusing on scalability and extensibility
  • Develop high-level project plans for implementation projects
  • Create user stories, business & functional requirement details (BRD, FRD) between operations, airport, ancillary, digital, catering teams on various product on improvement/upgrade list, new product requirement
  • Understanding flow of information internally to various teams like product development, digital, revenue management, airport, operations control centre and ensuring high impact issues are addressed in a timely manner with agility
  • As a Specialist, you will be responsible for business/ functional assessment of the Business Capabilities
  • Identify the gaps in the day-to-day processes with the Business Heads / Teams who are spending more time in manual efforts and recommend and build automated solutions
  • Discussion and verification of the concepts with the Business Heads. Ability to derive the easiest solution fitting to the requirements for implementation.
  • Set architecture best practices.
  • Assist in devising practice strategy, drive GTM imperatives, engage client consultatively to help them devise Business Systems & Application strategy, and coach junior colleagues
  • Build capabilities, service offerings and partner strategy
  • Evaluate, design and develop Business Capabilities and Vendors
  • Work with internal and/or partner teams to ensure the models can be implemented as part of a proposed solution and can be scaled to multiple industries / markets

About the Team

The team would cater to clients across Aviation industry segments, both within India/ South Asia, Middle east as well as across global clients and assist them in the Digital Transformation
Journey.

  • Enable clients with our consulting services leveraging Digital Capabilities to craft their Digital Strategy & Roadmap.
  • Assist in devising practice strategy, drive GTM imperatives, engage client consultatively to help them devise Business Systems & Application strategy, and coach junior colleagues

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 8-10 years of experience in Aviation
  • Certified in at least two Business Application tools will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Aviation, Travel & Tourism Industry trends including headless commerce will be an added advantage
  • Self-starter who can think outside of the box, and come up with a solution to resolve and mitigate complex problems
  • Experience in developing maturity models, TCO & ROI models, AS-IS : TO-BE blueprints, technology analysis, Roadmap design, Implementation plan
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of different audiences and strong presentation skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate technical communities
  • Ability to effectively recognize and adapt to change
  • Ability to quickly grasp customers’ business challenges and drive positive change
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders

  • Clear and precise skills to document the process and standard work as required
  • Ownership to analyze and resolve defects and issues
  • Diligence in creating or updating test cases as needed
