Tourism Authority Thailand

Thailand is already one of the most popular overseas destinations from India. However, the Tourism Authority of Thailand appointed CAPAGlobal to conduct a detailed strategic review and market assessment of its customer proposition, to support the development of a plan to grow visitor numbers, particularly from non-metro cities.

Tourism Western Australia

As part of a wider study to prepare a business case to support a direct air service between Perth and India, CAPAGlobal conducted detailed travel trade and consumer research to understand perceptions and awareness of Western Australia’s tourism offer, and presented a strategy outlining how to leverage the destination’s strengths to attract increase visitor numbers.

Outrigger Enterprises Group

A leading hotel and resort operator with 45 properties across Hawaii, and Asia Pacific engaged CAPAGlobal to conduct a review of the air capacity outlook for the Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles and Sri Lanka, to support the investment case for the acquisition or construction of hotels.

Mauritius Economic Development Board

Engaged CAPAGlobal to conduct a study to benchmark the competitiveness of the destination’s travel products and distribution strengths, relative to 10 competing markets to support analysis of the impact of pricing on inbound traffic flows from key source markets.

TPG Growth

We conducted due diligence in relation to a proposed investment in a leading OTA, providing research and insights into key trends in the Indian travel industry, with a specific focus on online air and hotel distribution.

Air Mauritius and the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority

Appointed CAPAGlobal for two separate studies to support a strategy to increase visitor arrivals from India. The study involved extensive primary research of consumers to understand the travel patterns and destination selection criteria, to facilitate the development of appropriate ground product and marketing.

Transport Canada

CAPAGlobal conducted detailed analysis of tourism flows from India to Canada, covering key source markets, purpose of travel, sensitivity to pricing etc. This involved extensive trade and consumer research. We also conducted a detailed benchmarking of Canada against competing destinations and identified opportunities to gain market share.

This leading public sector travel agency hired us to conduct a strategic review of the business, and to identify new opportunities in non-air segments of both inbound and outbound travel. This included analysis of hotel, cruise and tour pricing and commission levels to support financial modelling for a new business plan.

Leading Airline Representation Company

CAPAGlobal developed a plan to restructure the company from a traditional airline representation agency, to a professional travel market specialist, with diversification into hotel, cruise and destination representation as part of a strategic expansion of the business.
